Job Title:

Cyber security leaders play a pivotal role in safeguarding organisations against emerging threats.

This senior position oversees the management of our Security Operations Centre (SOC), ensuring proactive threat intelligence gathering and mitigation strategies are in place to protect our people, assets, and reputation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategically lead our SOC operations to provide real-time threat monitoring and response
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with Managed Security Service Providers (MSSPs)
  • Design and implement incident response frameworks that mitigate risks and ensure business continuity
  • Investigate high-stakes incidents and develop comprehensive response plans
  • Drive strategic partnerships with cross-functional teams to embed security into organisational decision-making processes
Requirements
  • 7+ years in information security, with 5+ years leading incident response at enterprise scale
  • Proven experience managing SOC operations and MSSP relationships
  • Expertise in ISO27001, NIST, and security best practice frameworks
  • Ability to distil complex security concepts into actionable strategies for senior stakeholders
  • A strategic mindset, capable of inspiring confidence and driving business outcomes
  • CISSP, GIAC or equivalent certifications
  • Experience with Microsoft Enterprise Mobility and Security tools
  • Proficiency in automation and SIEM platforms such as Splunk, LogRhythm, or Exabeam
