Project Coordinator Role

We are seeking a skilled Project Coordinator to support the development and maintenance of project, program, and portfolio planning and performance processes.

The successful candidate will assist with preparations for project test, evaluation, and acceptance programs. They will also apply project management methodologies to administrative and technical activities, including research, drafting, and preparing briefs, correspondence, and reports.

This role requires collaboration with relevant stakeholders, understanding their expectations and concerns, and adjusting project management methodologies to comply with legislative, policy, and regulatory frameworks.

The Project Coordinator will resolve problems using expertise and take the initiative to identify alternative courses of action. They will also maintain project financial records under the direction of the Project Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Planning: Contribute to the development and maintenance of project, program, and portfolio planning and performance processes.
  • Project Support: Assist with preparations for project test, evaluation, and acceptance programs.
  • Administrative Support: Apply project management methodologies to administrative and technical activities.
  • Communication: Research, draft, and prepare briefs, correspondence, and reports.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with relevant stakeholders and understand their expectations and concerns.
  • Problem-Solving: Resolve problems using expertise and take the initiative to identify alternative courses of action.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Portfolio, Programme, and Project Support: Level 3 (SFIA)
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assists in gathering financial data and preparing basic budget templates under supervision.
  • Customer Service Support: Level 3 (SFIA)
