Job Overview

The role of the Engineering Manager – M&E entails leading the design management and production of design deliverables/packages under direction from Senior Design Management personnel.

  • Contribute to project program, Quality Plan, Project Document Management Plan (PDMP) and Design Management documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve high-level inter-disciplinary engineering coordination issues.
  • Evaluate technical recommendations from the team for major subcontractors/suppliers selection.
  • Oversee overall design costs to ensure alignment with agreed budgets and advise management on any design changes.
  • Ensure all necessary reviews, verifications, and validations are planned and conducted, incorporating required input from Heads of Engineering.
About The Ideal Candidate
  • Hold a degree in Engineering at Bachelor level.
  • Possess at least 15 years of cumulative engineering experience, preferably 10 years in road or rail tunnel infrastructure Projects.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exhibit strong communication skills, including negotiation and influence, and ability to establish effective working relationships across various levels.
