About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Psychologist to join our team at the Spinal Rehabilitation Unit in the Repat Health Precinct. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will be responsible for conducting clinical assessments, designing and implementing intervention programs, and providing education and counselling to patients with spinal cord injuries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to identify patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Design and implement evidence-based intervention programs to promote patient recovery and independence
  • Provide education and counselling to patients and their families on coping strategies, rehabilitation techniques, and lifestyle modifications

Requirements
  • Master's degree in Clinical or Health Psychology or equivalent qualification
  • General registration with the PsyBA
  • Current National Police Clearance
  • Immunisation screening as indicated in the role description
