Job Description

Our team is seeking experienced and skilled orchard workers to join our harvest season. As a key member of our farm operations, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to fruit picking and general farm operation.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in farming or horticulture, with a strong understanding of crop management and harvesting techniques. You should be physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

  • Previous experience in farming or horticulture
  • Strong understanding of crop management and harvesting techniques
  • Physical fitness and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

You will also need to possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. A valid driver's license is not required but it would be beneficial.

Benefits

This is a full-time position available for 4 years with a minimum guarantee of 38 hours per week. You will be paid on an hourly rate, which is currently the minimum rate for full-time work under the Horticulture Award 2020 Orchard Worker - Level 1. You will also have the right to accrue holiday and sick leave.

As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to upskill and learn throughout your role. Training is provided upon commencing your employment and throughout your length of service.

Others

This is physically demanding work, so you must be prepared for all weather conditions and have no problems bending and stretching. There is no on-site accommodation provided, so you will need to arrange your own accommodation and transport.
