Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Operating Theatre Nurse to join our team. As an Operating Theatre Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the perioperative setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough nursing assessments of patients to identify their needs and develop individualised care plans.
  • Monitor patients' conditions closely and communicate effectively with medical officers to ensure prompt intervention when necessary.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement discharge-planning requirements and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Recent experience in a perioperative setting.
  • A relevant post-registration qualification or equivalent experience.
  • The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, demonstrating a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
