About This Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading e-commerce logistics provider, where you will play a key role in ensuring the successful operation of our distribution centres.

As a DC Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team to achieve outstanding results, while upholding safety standards and delivering exceptional customer service.

You will have a proven track record of improving efficiencies within a distribution environment and be able to align the culture of your team with the company's vision.

  • Ensure that safety, training, and discipline within the site are upheld by all employees.
  • Manage the sites' profit and loss (PNL) and meet daily inbound and outbound SLA's.
  • Lead, mentor, and provide performance reviews to your team.
  • Facilitate weekly direct cost reviews and toolbox talks.
  • Sign-off on labour planning and manage labour costs and rostering within site.
  • Ensure that MHE is operating at full capacity.
  • Engage with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Identify operational optimisation opportunities through slotting, consolidation, etc.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through process controls of inbound, outbound, and inventory management functions.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience gained within consumer goods/e-commerce, possess excellent communication skills, and be able to build and maintain trustful, meaningful relationships.
