
Lead Mental Health Specialist

We are committed to delivering high-quality patient care and making a positive impact in our community. As a Lead Mental Health Specialist, you will play a key role in developing and implementing clinical practice updates and research findings within Child and Youth Mental Health.
Your primary responsibilities include providing expert guidance on clinical nursing practice, ensuring the highest standards of safe quality care. This includes coordinating training programs, mentoring, and preceptorship to promote excellence in nursing practice within the multidisciplinary team.
As part of our integrated multidisciplinary team, you will work with young persons and their families/carers to conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, including risk assessments, and develop personalized plans of care. You will work collaboratively to provide person-centred care that meets the unique needs of each individual.
