Job Title: Handyperson/Painter

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Handyperson/Painter to join our team at IBIS STYLES. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the hotel's facilities are well-maintained and looking their best.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform painting maintenance tasks, including touch-ups and full repaints of walls
  • Remove marks and graffiti from surfaces
  • Patch and repair walls as needed
  • Conduct daily plant rounds to ensure the hotel's exterior is tidy and well-maintained
  • Perform routine maintenance on mechanical equipment and water reticulation systems
  • Assist with public areas maintenance, including cleaning and repairs

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous handyperson experience
  • A high level of strength and fitness, as the role requires heavy lifting and manual labor
  • The ability to focus on finding solutions to problems and provide exceptional guest service
  • A sense of humor and a playful attitude that fits with our Stylish team culture
  • Full Australian working rights, as this role is not available for sponsorship
