Engineering Team Member

We have an opportunity for a motivated, hardworking and professional tradesperson who has a strong work ethic to join our Engineering team at our modern, Gepps Cross manufacturing facility. You'll be given diverse scope to take on a variety of fabrication and assembly projects, including;

  • Lathe and mill work, cutting, drilling.
  • Commissioning and installation of roll forming and other sheet metal equipment.
  • Fabrication and assembly of proprietary manufacturing equipment.
  • Welding and fabricating medium to heavy sub-structures and components, and assembly.
  • Assistance with R&D activities.

You'll have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from small-scale fabrication to large-scale manufacturing operations. Your skills and experience will be utilised to ensure the highest quality products are produced, and that our customers receive the best possible service.

About You

We're looking for an individual demonstrating the following qualities and skills:

  • Formal trade qualification in Fitting & Turning or Toolmaking.
  • Experience in a toolroom environment.
  • Commitment to producing quality products.
  • Manual machining and fitting experience.
  • Attention to detail and ability to creatively solve problems.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work to high tolerances.
  • Experience welding of different types.

Our ideal candidate will have a passion for their profession, a commitment to delivering high-quality results, and a strong work ethic. In return, we offer a competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, plus additional benefits and rewards.
