About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Technical Infrastructure Program Manager to join our New Regions Enablement team at Amazon Web Services (AWS). This is a unique opportunity to lead the delivery of datacenter infrastructure to new regions, ensuring seamless launches and customer satisfaction.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing technical programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules. Your expertise in technical product or program management, supply chain risk management, and knowledge of datacenter infrastructure will be invaluable in driving consensus for acceptable levels of risk and best practices across the supply chain.

You will work closely with software engineering teams, supply chain specialists, security experts, and other stakeholders to develop technical solutions that ensure datacenter infrastructure is delivered on-time, in-full to support new region launches. Your ability to articulate complex issues and strategic initiatives in writing will be essential in communicating with senior leadership and influencing key decisions.

This is a high-judgment role that requires strong interpersonal and writing skills, as well as excellent executive communication skills. You will be responsible for ensuring the supply chain delivers on security and risk management commitments to customers, and making sure region build and operational teams receive the infrastructure hardware they need when they need it.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive consensus for acceptable levels of risk and best practices across the supply chain
  • Develop technical solutions to ensure datacenter infrastructure is delivered on-time, in-full to support new region launches
  • Work with other organizations to anticipate gaps between teams, processes, and system architectures
  • Articulate complex issues and strategic initiatives in writing for senior leadership
  • Act as a thought and business leader in supply chain risk management and supply chain operations

Requirements

  • 7+ years of technical product or program management experience
  • Experience in supply chain risk management and knowledge of datacenter infrastructure
  • Strong interpersonal and writing skills, with excellent executive communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
