Full Stack Web Developer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Web Developer to join our team on a part-time contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and maintenance of our website, using Next.js as the front-end and Strapi as the back-end.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Next.js, React, and Node.js, as well as proficiency with modern JavaScript/TypeScript. Experience with headless CMSs (ideally Strapi) and deployment pipelines is also highly desirable.

This is an excellent opportunity for a talented developer to take ownership of both front-end and back-end tasks and contribute to the ongoing management and optimisation of our new site.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead development and maintenance of our Next.js headless CMS
  • Build responsive, high-performance front-end UIs using React, Next.js, and modern CSS frameworks
  • Develop API integrations with third-party providers (Node.js / Next.js API routes)
  • Help manage hosting infrastructure with our internal IT team and external suppliers
  • Implement and maintain security best practices
  • Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code
  • Optimise site performance for speed, SEO, and accessibility
  • Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness
  • Troubleshoot and resolve front-end and back-end issues in production
