Innovative Sustainability Expert

The Role:
- Lead innovative methodologies and datasets to serve the needs of a diverse range of clients across the investment value chain.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop cutting-edge products in sustainable finance, ESG, and corporate sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with technology teams, product teams, data management teams, and external stakeholders to manage key components of ongoing projects.
- Develop and maintain high-quality data products, including QA/QC strategies.
- Communicate insights and technical approaches verbally and in writing.
- Work collaboratively with a diverse team to conduct analysis and ensure the quality of insights.
- Help develop reports, factsheets, blog posts, and other materials for general and specific audiences.
Requirements:
- Strong quantitative background with data science and geospatial analysis experience.
- Demonstrated skills in data and project management.
- Intellectual agility and comfort working on a wide variety of environmental topics.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Experience translating analytical information for non-specialist audiences.
- Able to work independently and support a multi-disciplinary team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 10+ years of relevant technical and industry experience.
- Proven experience managing analytical project teams.
- Postgraduate degree in a relevant technical field or extensive track record as a practitioner.
- Consulting skills, including ability to convey complex information to senior executives.
