The Inventory Specialist will play a pivotal role in managing the forward stores function for the zone to ensure efficient and effective entry, tracking, and staging of parts.
Main Responsibilities- Catalogue, order, and issue parts in line with work orders and maintenance schedules
- Maintain accurate bin locations, stocking strategies, and regular stock takes
- Coordinate outbound freight to central stores and external vendors
- Ensure accurate record keeping in SAP and other relevant systems
- Support planners and supervisors by staging parts for efficient work execution
About You
- Previous experience in a stores or inventory focused role
- Ability to analyse data to forecast future inventory demands and align with maintenance requirements
- Experience and possession of a valid forklift licence
- Knowledge of Maintenance Planning (desirable)
- Previous experience with the Microsoft Office suite and SAP
