Lead Our Eagle Farm Distribution Centre to Success

We're seeking an experienced leader to manage our state-of-the-art Eagle Farm Distribution Centre, fostering innovation and building a high-performing team culture in a forward-thinking environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure smooth and efficient daily operations, managing logistics and overseeing the entire distribution process.
  • Promote a strong safety-first culture and ensure compliance with all necessary regulations.
  • Monitor performance metrics and implement strategies for continuous improvement, using data to identify areas for enhancement and driving operational excellence.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop your team, from entry-level staff to managers, to achieve exceptional results.
  • Oversee inventory management processes, ensuring stock accuracy and minimising losses, while continually looking for opportunities to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other departments such as sales and procurement to ensure a seamless supply chain, and develop and implement risk management strategies to handle crises and operational disruptions.
What We're Looking For:
  • Proven experience managing large-scale distribution centres, ideally 5+ years. Experience within the building materials industry is a bonus but not essential.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing team.
  • Knowledge of inventory management and business planning systems.
  • Ability to collaborate with stakeholders and build strong relationships.
  • Ability to drive team towards a customer-centric culture and sustainable DIFOT performance.
  • Proficiency in systems like Excel, Word, and warehouse management tools.
