We are seeking an experienced Science teacher to join our Science Faculty at an Independent College in Keysborough.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a curriculum that engages and challenges students, using evidence-based teaching strategies.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and spark excitement in students.
- Cultivate a safe and nurturing classroom atmosphere where every child feels valued and empowered.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to design interdisciplinary projects that make learning an immersive experience.
- Harness the power of technology to generate engaging and modern learning experiences.
- Provide thoughtful guidance and support to learners, fostering their holistic development.
- Bachelor's degree in education or a related field (Master's preferred)
- VIT registered (Absolute requirement, no exceptions)
- Proven experience teaching Science from Years 7-10 (Desirable, however fresh graduates are encouraged to apply also)
- Confidence in delivering the curriculum outcomes and planning outstanding lessons that engage and challenge students.
- An ability to cultivate positive relationships with colleagues, students, and families.
- Have unrestricted work rights in Australia
