About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Intelligence (BI) and Analytics Lead to join our Technology department.

The successful candidate will lead data and reporting efforts, managing processes, crunching numbers, and presenting actionable insights.

As a key member of our team, you will develop and implement a data strategy that aligns with business goals.

You will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into analytical solutions that drive business outcomes.

You will have experience in SQL Server, Qlik Sense, and SSAS, with a strong understanding of data governance, quality management, and compliance best practices.

You will also have a track record of driving change and fostering a data-driven culture.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing a data strategy that aligns with business goals
  • Interrogating and validating data from various sources using SQL Server
  • Designing interactive dashboards, reports, and visualisations using Qlik Sense and other reporting tools
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into analytical solutions
  • Establishing data governance standards and ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance
  • Promoting the use of data and insights in decision-making processes
  • Developing and monitoring KPIs to measure data effectiveness

To succeed in this role, you will need to have:

  • Experience in a fast-paced environment with the ability to handle multiple workstreams
  • A track record of driving change and fostering a data-driven culture
  • A strong understanding of data governance, quality management, and compliance best practices
  • Demonstrated 5+ years of experience in a mixed skill set of BI Analyst, Data Specialist/BA with experience in SQL data warehouse environment and proficiency with SQL queries
  • Highly experience in data visualisation, report or dashboard design, or data analysis and reporting, performance reporting and monitoring
