Person-Centred Nursing Care Opportunity

Job Summary: We are seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver person-centred nursing care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize best practice evidence to provide high-quality nursing care that prioritizes individual needs and preferences.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Supervise and support less experienced clinicians to ensure seamless care delivery.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.
  • Competencies in and knowledge of providing nursing care within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Effective clinical communication skills, including strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to apply evidence-based practice and critical thinking to advocate for individualized person-centred care.
  • Leadership and change management skills to prioritize quality nursing care.
  • Recent clinical experience relevant to the position, with ongoing professional development and maintenance of competence and skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize workload effectively.

Additional Requirements:

Occupational Assessment, Screening, and Vaccination against Specific Diseases (OASV) Category A; compliance with NSW Health policy directive PD2024_015; influenza vaccination proof for NSW staff entering Residential Aged Care Facilities (RACFs).
