Key Responsibilities

About You

We are looking for a candidate with substantial experience in the mining industry, ideally with a background in managing safety across a large blue-collar, remote workforce. Strong leadership qualities are essential, as you will be responsible for guiding and motivating our HSE team and driving a culture of safety excellence.

Key qualifications include:

  1. Minimum of 5 years related HSE experience in the mining and resources sector, including managerial and operational roles.
  2. Degree or Diploma in OHS or other associated disciplines.
  3. Formal incident investigation training - ICAM.
  4. Lead Auditors (Applicable Standards) - desirable.
  5. Sound knowledge of HSE Management systems, processes, and procedures in compliance with legislative and applicable ISO and Australian Standards.
  6. Strong analytical, document, and record management skills.
  7. Frontline management and negotiation skills to mentor and implement change throughout the business.
