Harvest Almond Inspector

Agri Labour Australia is a leading provider of agricultural labour solutions across Australia.

We are currently seeking Harvest Quality Controllers to join our client's orchard team in the heart of the almond harvest region.

About the Role

This seasonal position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a dedicated team and play a vital role in ensuring quality control during the almond harvest season.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A strong commitment to work throughout the entire harvest season
• Physical fitness and the ability to work long hours with flexible shifts
• High-level English communication skills
• No asthma or dust allergies
• Previous experience in the almond sector, preferably with orchard equipment and/or harvest equipment repairs and maintenance
• A valid driver's license

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $29.33 per hour + Penalty rates, providing good earning potential for motivated individuals.

In addition to the attractive remuneration package, successful candidates will also be eligible for visa extensions, allowing them to continue working in Australia.

Key Responsibilities

As a Harvest Quality Controller, you will be responsible for performing various general farm hand duties on the almond orchard, operating tractors and other harvest equipment, assisting with manual tasks as needed, liaising with operators to ensure a seamless product transition, maintaining accurate records for stock control, traceability, and customer certificates of analysis, and conducting weight and size records.
