
Multidisciplinary Team Leader

The Hume Region Manager will lead a multidisciplinary team to improve outcomes for consumers with offending risks and mental illness or problem behaviors, as well as their families and carers.
This role is responsible for providing high-level management, clinical, and forensic expertise to the regional team of professionals.
As the Manager, you will oversee the development and implementation of the service model for regional forensic mental health services, coordinate the delivery of interventions and reports, and lead clinical reviews.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing high-level advice to executive directors on emerging issues.
- Contributing to strategic planning and service development activities.
- Leading organizational change and service improvement within the regional team.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Applicants must have a relevant tertiary qualification and registration or membership with the appropriate board or association as a registered nurse, psychologist, social worker, or occupational therapist.
They must also possess at least 10 years of post-registration experience in mental health, as well as demonstrated ability to coordinate a multidisciplinary team and lead complex programs effectively.
Additional requirements include:
- Demonstrated commitment to mental health consumer recovery and incorporating consumer perspectives into service delivery.
- Extensive experience in undertaking comprehensive psychosocial and risk assessments, and in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of clinical mental health interventions.
