As a Senior Systems Administrator, you'll be responsible for overseeing the installation, configuration, upgrade, and maintenance of server-related infrastructure systems, operating systems, and their hosted services in our midrange environment.
You'll create, update, and amend process documentation, knowledge base articles, and Standard Operating Procedures to ensure seamless operations. Interacting with key business stakeholders, providing subject matter expertise and solutions for a range of server and virtualization challenges is also crucial.
Providing high-level mentorship to junior staff members, ensuring knowledge is shared and maintained across the whole team, is a vital part of this role. You'll take a proactive approach, understanding the business, identifying issues, and developing relationships to achieve the company's objectives.
Coupled with your education and professional experience, it would be desirable if you demonstrate proven experience administering, configuring, and managing large-scale server environments. Experience working with VMware Virtualization Products, such as vSphere, ESXi, SRM, ARIA Operations, SDDC, VCF, Lifecycle Manager, etc., is also highly valued.
