The primary purpose of this role is to provide advice and oversight of the business's strategic and operational implementation and associated risk-taking activities.
We will count on you to:
- Cultivate a culture of risk awareness by leading initiatives to enhance governance, risk, and compliance skills across the business.
- Provide oversight and monitoring of first-line risk teams, ensuring accurate risk assessments and adherence to global policy requirements.
- Analyze risk data from internal and external sources to identify emerging risks and areas for improvement.
- Prepare and present concise risk reports for management, coordinating cyclical risk activities across the portfolio.
- Actively contribute to the development of frameworks, tools, and processes required for effective risk management.
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A university degree in business management or equivalent.
- 3-5 years of experience in a risk, compliance, or legal role, particularly related to functional lines of business within a regulated environment.
- A strong understanding of risk management principles and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the capability to engage effectively with senior management.
