About the Role

At BDO, we are seeking a Senior Manager to join our Project and Infrastructure Advisory Team. As a key member of our team, you will work on diverse infrastructure projects in New South Wales, collaborating with government and private clients across various sectors.

Key Responsibilities


  • Lead or work as part of multi-disciplinary teams to deliver short-term and long-term project engagements.
  • Manage the on-time and on-budget delivery of projects, including the preparation and management of project plans, cost models, schedule, risk/issue registers, reporting, and invoicing.
  • Undertake or learn business development activities, engaging with current and potential future clients and tracking potential engagement opportunities.
  • Develop and implement engagement pursuit strategies, prepare proposals, and manage tender processes.
  • Share your awareness of the broader market environment and industry trends.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, project stakeholders, project partners, and broader industry.
  • Contribute to team planning, development, and maintenance of a high-performance culture, including coaching and mentoring to support learning and development initiatives.
  • Perform other business development, project delivery, and team management activities as required to support the efficient management of the team.


Requirements

You will have tertiary qualifications in engineering, town planning, transport planning, economics, or other civil or social infrastructure specialisations. Additionally, experience in project and/or program management and business cases within civil or social infrastructure projects is essential.
