About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Fleet Allocator to join our team at BagTrans Pty, a national transport company with over 35 years of experience. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and facilitating communication between our drivers and delivery locations to ensure timely and safe deliveries and collections for our business customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize your allocating skills to manage our day-to-day driver operations, ensuring seamless coordination and efficient logistics.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, coordinating multiple drivers, consignments, and vehicles to meet customer demands.
  • Apply your transport and logistics knowledge to audit and problem-solve, ensuring compliance with regulations and company standards.
  • Perform allocation administration tasks, maintaining accurate records and reports.
Requirements
  • Strong work ethic and a "Can do" attitude, with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction.
  • Legal and WHS knowledge regarding CoR, driving hours, and fatigue management.
  • Extensive knowledge of the Melbourne metro area and surrounding regions.
