We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Department Manager to join our team at Kmart. As a Department Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of retail professionals and driving sales growth in your department.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of retail professionals to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and improve customer engagement in your department.
- Collaborate with other department managers and store leaders to achieve store-wide goals and objectives.
- Monitor and control department expenses to ensure profitability.
- Provide coaching and development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Proven experience as a Department Manager or in a similar leadership role in retail.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with team members, customers, and stakeholders.
