Aged and Disability Support Worker Role Overview
Our team is seeking an experienced Aged or Disability Care Worker to provide one-on-one care to clients in their homes. This role involves supporting individuals with daily living tasks, assisting with personal care, community access, and domestic assistance.
This position requires a strong understanding of the Aged Care and NDIS Standards, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
The ideal candidate will have a Certificate III in Individual Support, Ageing, Disability or similar qualification, and current industry knowledge and skills.
Key Responsibilities- Provide one-on-one care to clients in their homes
- Assist with personal care, community access, and domestic assistance
- Support clients with daily living tasks
- Certificate III in Individual Support, Ageing, Disability or similar
- Current National Police Clearance
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Current or willing to obtain Working With Children Card
- Current or willing to obtain Manual handling certificate
- Current Australian drivers licence and reliable car
