About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Fitter to join our team at Pact Group. As a key member of our Site based team, you will be responsible for partnering with OEM equipment providers on the installation and commissioning of our Greenfields site.

Post successful commissioning, you will have accountability for the ongoing performance and running of the equipment. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Performing Root Cause Analysis on all critical failures of plant and ensuring action items derived are implemented and sustained
  • Actively supporting the implementation of capital projects
  • Demonstrating genuine safety-first leadership, leading by example
  • Ensuring reliability and maintainability of all equipment is at or above target levels
  • Planning and managing all maintenance work effectively with production, ensuring minimal disruption and downtime as possible
  • Conducting route cause analysis and investigations of safety incidents, environmental incidents, and breakdowns
  • Periodically reviewing all parts holdings on site to ensure they are up to date and stock records are accurate
  • Assessing critical assets on an ongoing basis and implementing defined actions to mitigate or minimise business risk
  • Planning and executing shutdowns

About You

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

  • 5-10 years in a similar position in the manufacturing sector
  • Good communication skills. (from shop floor to leadership team)
  • Demonstrated ability in managing a preventative maintenance schedule
  • Proven ability to problem solve for emergency maintenance and repair

  • Trade qualified fitter C10 or higher
