Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Graduate Teacher to join our team in the South West Region. As a Graduate Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and implementing a range of teaching programs or courses of study, teaching an area of the curriculum or a general curriculum to a year level, and monitoring, evaluating and reporting student progress in key learning areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engaging and effective teaching programs that cater to diverse student needs
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design and deliver curriculum that promotes student learning and achievement
  • Assess and report student progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parents
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practice and stay up-to-date with curriculum developments
Requirements
  • Completed a teaching degree within the last 4 years
  • Currently registered or eligible for registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
