Senior Mechanical Engineer Role

This is a challenging opportunity for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Brisbane, Queensland. We are looking for an experienced professional who can contribute to the delivery of multi-disciplinary engineering designs and feasibility studies.

The successful candidate will have a degree qualification in Mechanical Engineering and experience in engineering consulting and EPC/EPCM projects in the mining and resources sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the delivery of multi-disciplinary engineering designs and feasibility studies
  • Prepare technical reports related to specific design issues
  • Prepare equipment procurement packages, designs, calculations, and cost estimates for conventional engineering, research, and development assignments
  • Develop networks and relationships within teams, across the organization, and with clients
  • Assist with the preparation of proposals and tenders (such as estimating design hours)
Requirements:
  • Degree qualification in Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience in engineering consulting and EPC/EPCM projects in the mining and resources sectors
  • Design experience using S3D, HELIX, Rocky, Autopipe, PSFF, Hammer, etc.
  • Project and/or site experience highly regarded
  • Sound understanding of current codes and standards including Australian and ASME
  • RPEQ or willing to work towards accreditation
