Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the end-to-end payroll function for employees across 6 entities
  • Manage year-end payroll tasks, including STP reporting, year-end payroll reporting, and international payroll requirements
  • Conduct regular reviews and audits of the payroll system
  • Provide leadership, mentoring, and support to the payroll team
  • Develop and conduct training sessions across the organization
  • Maintain up-to-date policies, procedures, and processes
  • Interpret and apply relevant legislation
  • Identify opportunities to automate, streamline, and simplify payroll processes
  • Lead the identification, scoping, and implementation of system enhancements
  • Collaborate with Finance, HR, and IT teams
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Payroll, Accounting, or a related field
  • Experience leading a high-performing payroll team
  • 5+ years of experience processing complex end-to-end payroll
  • 5+ years of experience in the EOFY payroll process
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Working knowledge and understanding of relevant payroll legislation
