About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Vice President to lead our multidisciplinary engineering teams in a product development environment. As a key executive leader, you will be responsible for driving completion of program requirements, strategic planning, and ensuring the successful implementation of new services and products across multiple projects using a Systems Engineering approach.

As a seasoned leader, you will excel in a matrix organization structure, managing diverse stakeholders, and utilising strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills. Your leadership will be pivotal in guiding cross-functional teams and fostering a collaborative environment, all while ensuring the delivery of state-of-the-art defence solutions.

Experience:

  • At least 15 years of relevant experience in the Defence industry or similar sectors like infrastructure, mining, construction, or aerospace.
  • Minimum of 10 years in a supervisory role leading a multidisciplinary engineering team.
  • Proven experience managing engineering resources across multiple projects within a product development environment.
  • Strong background in leadership, team building, and the ability to operate effectively in a matrix organization structure.
  • Demonstrated skills in software and electronics engineering.
  • Eligible for defence security clearance.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex engineering problems and ensure the safe and secure delivery of products.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
  • Registration as a Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) and on the National Engineering Register (NER) is required.
