Job Opportunity

We are seeking a talented legal writer to join our team and leverage their writing skills in a new role. As a legal writer, you will develop and maintain high-quality, up-to-date practical legal content.

The ideal candidate will have experience as a practicing lawyer with a strong understanding of the practical processes in a lawyer's workflow related to Criminal law practice.

You will work closely with Relationship Managers to build brand awareness and influence market share across clients and stakeholders. This full-time permanent position offers flexibility, including regular in-office time and the option to work from home.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain high-quality, up-to-date practical legal content
  • Collaborate with external specialist authors to create new materials
  • Support Relationship Managers in building brand awareness and influencing market share
  • Prepare and maintain practically-focused content and resources for our popular Practical Guidance product

Requirements

  • 3+ years post-qualification experience (PQE)
  • Experience in an Australian legal practice
  • Australian legal practice background with experience or strong interest in data privacy and/or cybersecurity
  • Excellent communication and plain-English writing skills
  • Aptitude for building and fostering relationships with diverse clients and stakeholders
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills
