Midwifery Opportunity in Newcastle

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Midwife to provide high standards of evidence-based midwifery care to women of varying ages and cultural groups.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive midwifery care to women, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized care plans.
  • Collaborate with women, their families, and the healthcare team to achieve identified goals and health outcomes.
  • Supervise and direct junior nurses and undergraduate midwives in providing midwifery care.

About Our Facility:

Our hospital is an acute private facility with 189 beds, 11 theatres, and a 15-bed Intensive Care Unit. The Maternity Unit consists of a Birthing Suite, Maternity Ward, and Special Care Nursery.
