About the Role:

Educate and inspire students in ICT and digital technologies by joining our dedicated team at a vibrant Secondary school.

Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality lessons aligned with the Victorian Curriculum and VCE standards.
  • Teach a range of ICT subjects, including programming, web development, databases, and cybersecurity.
  • Support students with varying learning needs and provide additional resources or adjust teaching methods as necessary.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends in technology and education by attending professional development sessions.
  • Manage and maintain IT resources within the classroom, including hardware, software, and online tools.
  • Organize and supervise extracurricular activities, such as coding clubs or robotics teams.

Requirements:

  • Unrestricted working rights in Australia.
  • Current VIT registration.
  • Previous experience in teaching ICT in a Secondary school setting.
  • Ability to provide education-based references from within the last 5 years.
