Energy Market Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a global project that partners with leading companies across the world. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for interacting with customers, providing technical support and onsite training.

About the Position:

  • Track support cases from start to finish.
  • Prepare and maintain system user documentation, help materials and training resources.
  • Assist in building, calibrating and maintaining accurate data sets for specific markets.
  • Research and perform studies, write reports and papers to demonstrate use of the system for market modelling and analysis.

About You:

  • You have a strong background in mathematics or a related field, preferably with expertise in multivariate analysis.
  • You are highly consultative, analytical, and have a keen interest in the energy sector.
  • You have previous experience working in the energy sector, preferably with knowledge of energy economics and market fundamentals.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Energy Economics or Operations Research (or similar mathematical science degree).
  • Working experience and/or knowledge of the Energy Sector with firm understanding of energy economics and market fundamentals.
