Support Teaching in a Christian Environment

We are seeking a relief education assistant to fill ad hoc and short-term positions. As an effective classroom support, you will contribute to a positive team environment.

To be successful, you must be a practicing evangelical Christian who can accept the College's Code of Conduct and meet all compliance requirements. You should demonstrate your personal faith in Jesus Christ as God and Saviour and be an active member of an evangelical Christian Church.

The ideal candidate will have a desire to work within a Christian team setting and support teaching from a Christian worldview. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, teachers, and parents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide effective classroom support to teachers
  • Assist with student supervision and welfare
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive school culture
  • Support teaching from a Christian worldview

Requirements:

  • Current Working with Children Card (WWCC)
  • Current Police Clearance
  • Qualifications and experience in education or a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships with students, teachers, and parents
