About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Personal Care Assistant to join our care team at Respect Aged Care. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will provide high-quality personal care and support to our residents, ensuring their dignity and independence are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care to assist residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist with meal delivery and refreshments as required.
  • Record observations and document any exceptions to the care plan in progress notes.
  • Check residents' daily menu requirements.
  • Perform general ward duties as allocated and directed by the RN/EN.

Requirements:

  • Current National Police Certificate (or ability to acquire).
  • Relevant Certificate III Qualification.
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
