Project Management Graduates Job Description

ASC invites applications for the role of Project Management Graduate.

This is a 2-year rotational program offering graduates exposure to various business units within ASC, including Finance, Commercial, Engineering, and Program Delivery. During this period, graduates will gain valuable skills and knowledge in project management methodologies and frameworks while working on high-impact projects.

  • Develop expertise in managing project risk, conducting cost performance analysis, and planning schedules.
  • Collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including internal and external teams.
  • Take ownership of meaningful tasks and apply principles learned to problem-solving.

The Corporate Graduate Program provides a unique opportunity for recent project management graduates to grow their careers and achieve a deeper purpose in their work.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage complex projects, ensuring timely completion and effective resource allocation.
  • Develop and implement project plans, identifying potential risks and mitigation strategies.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver projects that meet customer requirements.
  • Conduct regular progress reviews and provide updates to stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Recent graduate with a degree in Project Management or related field.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and frameworks (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.

This role requires a National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance. The successful candidate will also need to obtain access to protected US defence technology.
