We are seeking an experienced Senior Physiotherapist to lead our Rehabilitation in the Home (RITH) program in the South Metropolitan Region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing advanced physiotherapy services, leading and supervising physiotherapists and support staff, and developing individualized rehabilitation programs to support patient recovery at home.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide and coordinate advanced physiotherapy services within the RITH program, including assessment, intervention, and evaluation.
- Lead, supervise, and mentor physiotherapists and support staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized rehabilitation programs to support patient recovery at home.
- Actively manage and prioritize your caseload, participating in clinical reviews and case conferences to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Provide expert clinical advice to fellow physiotherapists, health professionals, and external stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development of policies, procedures, and quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing service delivery.
- Educate patients and caregivers on post-discharge management to ensure continuity of care.
- Lead or participate in staff education, training programs, and evidence-based research projects to promote clinical excellence.
- Tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy and current AHPRA registration.
- Demonstrated experience in clinical assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation at an advanced level.
- 2-4 years experience in a similar role, including Acute - In and Outpatient experience.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a team.
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication abilities.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and innovative healthcare practices.
- Current driver's license.
- Must have current APHRA registration and Australian working rights.
- Competitive salary under the Health Salaried Officers Agreement (HSO Level P-2).
- Lead and develop a specialized rehabilitation service with a focus on patient-centered care.
