Clinical Mental Health Therapist

Role Overview:
My Care Provider is seeking a skilled Clinical Mental Health Therapist to join our dedicated team of Occupational Therapists. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering NDIS-specific capacity building interventions to participants in the community who have a diagnosis of mental illness, autism spectrum disorder, and/or intellectual disability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering various forms of intervention to participants, including symptom management, habit formation, and daily living skills.
- Conducting annual functional capacity assessments and brief progress reports via our assessment templates.
- Collaborating with the clinical team for supervision and brainstorming.
- Working autonomously to manage a caseload and develop interventions.
Requirements:
- At least two years of mental health experience.
- AHPRA registration.
- Working with Children's Check.
- Current Police Check.
- Current driver's license.
- Australian citizen or permanent resident.
- Existing NDIS Worker Screening Check (preferred).
- NDIS Workers Orientation Certificate (easily obtained online).
