Locum Oral Health Therapist

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated professional to fill the role of Locum Oral Health Therapist in our dental practice.

  • The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2+ years of experience and be able to work a minimum of 2 days per week, with flexibility to travel to practices within our network in Adelaide for available shifts.

The successful applicant will be responsible for assisting patients in developing and maintaining good oral health, accurately interpreting treatment plans, aims, and objectives, and maintaining detailed clinical records. Key skills required include:

  • Able to gather data relevant to the dentist's direction and assess patients' presenting conditions;
  • Maintaining infection control protocols and practices;
  • Providing routine dental treatments for people of all ages, including examinations and diagnosis;
  • Treating patients for oral health conditions, taking radiographs, applying fluoride therapy, etc., and actively promoting comprehensive dentistry and active maintenance.
