A Brisbane family seeks an experienced nanny for their two girls. We are looking for a kind, calm and caring individual who can provide high-quality childcare.
**Job Responsibilities:**
- Care for the children, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
- Follow established routines to maintain consistency and structure.
- Pick up the children from childcare as required.
- Engage in age-appropriate activities to stimulate the children's development.
- Assist with light household duties, including tidying children's bedrooms and putting away toys.
- Contribute to meal preparation and grocery shopping, as needed.
**Requirements:**
- Minimum 3 years of experience in childcare or as a nanny.
- Current Blue Card and First Aid certification.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with the family.
- Physical health and ability to engage in active play.
- Non-smoker and able to swim.
- Full driver's licence and clean driving record.
**Benefits:**
- This is a long-term, permanent role with a guaranteed minimum of 12 months.
- Competitive hourly rate, ranging from $35-40 per hour, depending on experience.
- Opportunity to travel with the family on occasion.
**Working Conditions:**
- 22-26 hours per week, with flexibility to adjust as needed.
- Option to add an extra full day on Thursdays in the future.
