About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our cafe team as a Cafe Service Professional.

This is a full-time casual role located in Sydney, NSW.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service and resolve conflicts effectively
  • Assist with opening and closing of the cafe
  • Take on additional responsibilities as required, including managing the cafe lead role
  • Maintain open communication with the team and attend regular meetings
  • Offer support and prayer where requested
  • Contribute to the management of volunteers and ensure they have a positive experience
  • Operate the Village coffee van as needed
  • Submit regular reports to leadership
  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience
  • Maintain safety standards and adhere to Work Health Safety requirements
  • Foster community connections and facilitate interactions between local community members

Requirements:

  • A valid safe food handling qualification
  • Barista training
  • A passion for being involved in the local community
  • Strong business acumen
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • The ability to interact positively with a variety of people
  • The ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
  • The ability to delegate tasks
  • Strong team working skills, flexibility, and a positive attitude
  • A current NSW Working with Children Check
