Job Title

A key role has become available within our Logistics Department as a Shift Manager in our Distribution Centre.

Job Description

The primary objective of this position is to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Chilled Distribution Centre ensuring our teams are set up for success to deliver on time and in full.

  • Continuously review and investigate receivals, picking, replenishment and despatch to improve accuracy and efficiency.
  • Optimise the utilisation of labour through efficient management and equipment use.
  • Manage internal and external stakeholder relationships.
  • Lead and participate in Health and Safety initiatives.
  • Monitor and manage the preventative maintenance programme for mobile equipment and other assets.
  • Ensure the Chilled Distribution Centre achieves targeted efficiencies.
Key Requirements
  • Previous experience in multi-site warehousing with FMCG products.
  • Strong experience using Warehouse Management Computer Systems.
  • Proven leadership experience.
