About the Role

KBR's National Security Solutions team delivers high-end engineering solutions to customers in the intelligence and national security sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain mechanical systems for defense applications.
  • Make authoritative decisions that impact extensive engineering activities.
  • Negotiate complex issues with senior engineers and officers from other organizations.
  • Provide advisory services as a recognized authority in mechanical engineering.
Requirements
  • A US or Australian citizen is required.
  • A US TS/SCI Clearance w/ Poly, or an Australian PV clearance, is necessary.
  • A minimum of a BA/BS in Engineering from an accredited institution is mandatory.
  • A minimum of seven years of mechanical engineering experience is required.
  • A PE-Mechanical license is essential.
Work Environment

This role will be based in Alice Springs at a 4,400-acre facility with approximately 687,000 square feet of mission and support space.
