Job Title: Data Modeler

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Data Modeler to join our team. As a Data Modeler, you will be responsible for designing and implementing data models that meet the needs of our business.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data modeling principles and experience with data warehousing environments. They will also possess excellent communication skills to translate business needs into technical data solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create flexible, scalable, and efficient data models that cater to diverse analytical and processing requirements.
  • Design systems that scale and adapt to schema drift, late-arriving data, or inconsistent input format.
  • Implement multi-layered security measures including encryption, access controls, and continuous monitoring to protect sensitive data.
  • Apply infrastructure as code principles and tools like Terraform to manage cloud resources programmatically.
  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using Tableau.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on data modeling, aggregation, and business intelligence.
  • Proven ability to design and build efficient data models within a data warehouse environment.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with next-generation architectures such as Vector Databases and RAG.
  • Expertise in building and maintaining reports and dashboards with Tableau.
