Café Operations Manager

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our café.
About the Role
Our café is a busy and fast-paced environment that requires strong organisational and time management skills to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Taking orders and serving coffee, food, and drinks in a timely manner to provide excellent customer service.
- Maintaining stock levels and effective stock rotation to prevent waste and maximise sales.
- Providing a 'can-do' attitude and being proactive in resolving customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
- Operating a POS and EFTPOS machine with cash handling duties to maintain accuracy and security.
- Cleaning and maintaining equipment, including coffee machines, to ensure optimal performance and hygiene standards.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Previous supervisory experience in a similar environment would be highly regarded.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
