Senior ICT Systems Manager

KBR is seeking a seasoned leader to oversee the delivery, integration, and sustainment of secure, high-performance ICT systems in support of Defence mission planning capability.

This role will lead a team of skilled professionals to maintain and evolve critical infrastructure, including physical servers, networking hardware, system configurations, and software environments.

The successful candidate will have strong technical knowledge of Defence ICT environments and experience in managing both technical direction and day-to-day operations of network and server environments across fixed and deployed Defence contexts.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Mentoring a team of experts in the development, integration, and sustainment of software, hardware, data, tools, and processes for ADF mission planning systems in fixed and deployed environments.
  • Conducting performance reviews, setting team objectives, and fostering a collaborative and inclusive team culture.
  • Overseeing the maintenance of physical server and networking hardware, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Managing the development and maintenance of system configurations for MPS laptops and servers.

Prior experience working with Defence ICT environments, including Defence Protected Environment (DPE) and Defence Secret Environment (DSE), is highly desirable.
