Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced perioperative nurse to join our team at Newcastle Private Hospital.

About the Role
  • This is a nursing position that requires strong clinical skills and experience in an acute environment
  • The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years postgraduate experience as an Anaesthetic RN and current registration with AHPRA

Nursing Responsibilities

  • To provide high-quality patient care in accordance with legislation and evidence-based practice
  • Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure effective communication and collaboration
  • To assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the nursing care provided to patients
  • To supervise, direct, and guide nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and AINs to deliver patient care (RN only)
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Current Registration with AHPRA
  • Minimum of 3 years postgraduate experience in an acute perioperative environment as an Anaesthetic RN
  • Valid NSW Working with Children check
